So pleased to be invited to this show! I have three pieces from my Desiderata series in this thoughtful curation.

In the East Gallery, the work of eleven local artists are presented as a play on the spirit of the Nick Lowe song, familiarized by Elvis Costello, in an invitational exhibition titled: What's So Funny About Peace, Love and Understanding. Sanchez Art Center Executive Director Cindy Abbott has expressed her appreciation to the artists who responded to her request to share art as an antidote to the pain, misery and anxiousness being felt throughout our country and abroad. The show offers light and harmony with a focus on peace and finding the helpers who fill our communities with love.
